Just when the former announced his divorce with Amy, he shortly confirmed his relationship with his new girlfriend. Later, in Amy’s book, she confirmed Matt and Caryn’s relationship started as an affair, and they have been together ever since and got engaged last year.
Since then, fans have been sensing tensions between the couple. Even in the last season, there were many moments where the couple just couldn’t agree with one another.
