Mama June Pumpkin Breaks Silence On Josh’s Serious Accident
Pumpkin and Josh Efird are officially divorced and free to date other people, something Pumpkin had already been doing before they even split. Pumpkin allegedly started seeing her boyfriend, Darrin Kitchens in April 2024 as he is Josh’s cousin. This may have been what officially caused the marriage to fall apart. In any case, Pumpkin filed for divorce on August 1st but quickly flaunted her new romance with Darrin here, there, and everywhere. Her divorce from Josh was finalized on September 23rd but right around this time, Josh was in an awful accident.
His truck was crashed into and flipped upside down. Allegedly, Pumpkin was his emergency contact therefore she was the first person to be called. Yet, she did not want to go to the hospital. She also supposedly said he just wanted a check after complaining of pain. Now, Mama June’s daughter is correcting the narrative and telling her side via a live video that was posted on Reddit. Pumpkin said it was Josh who called her and she arrived on the scene. His truck was overturned and the ambulance was there, he was loaded up, and she called his mom.
Pumpkin ended it by saying they went to his house. She also noted that Josh was not unconscious, as had previously been reported. More so, she has been shocked by the stories coming out. Pumpkin shared she wanted to check in on Josh Efird because he is the father of her children. However, she has had to deal with the same drama with her new man. They are the subject of constant gossip and have to learn to live with it.

Many times, fans and followers do not believe a word that Pumpkin Efird is saying. They have recently compared her to Mama June, saying she cannot live without a man. However, in this situation, they feel she is telling the truth:

- I believe her story. She’s still grieving the loss of Anna. I truly don’t believe she would want to lose Josh, regardless of their relationship he’s still the kids dad.
- Kudos to her. I’m glad she addressed this and said that she checked on him because he is still the father of their kids, which is what really matters.
Hopefully, Pumpkin really does still care about Josh and his well-being, at least for Ella, Bentley, Sylus, and Stella. This situation is not ideal but as long as they are trying, that is all that matters.
