Why did fans mute the most recent season?

On Reddit, in a new thread, viewers are discussing the fact that they found it necessary to mute the show. They’re getting tired of hearing the girls talk like babies despite being in third grade. While it might have been cute when they were younger, fans think it’s time for them to talk like children instead of toddlers.

One user mentioned all of the “baby talk” and said, “Guys, I can’t even handle it.” Some even go as far as muting the show and watching with subtitles. One said, “Drives me insane. I had to mute my tv for a few minutes to take a break from it. Why wouldn’t they encourage the girls to speak in regular voices?”

Several OutDaughtered viewers are placing the blame on Adam and Danielle. They think the parents don’t want their kids to speak more clearly because the “baby talk” is cute. One fan speculated that Danielle and Adam might think the “baby talk” and the girls seeming younger is what’s keeping viewers entertained.

Another added, “Thank goodness I’m not the only one. I couldn’t even get through the last episode. I couldn’t understand what they were saying. Baby talk drives me insane.” They’re beginning to wonder if the parents will ever start discouraging the baby talk.

Of course, the Reddit users mentioned are only a small percentage of viewers. So, despite these folks disliking the most recent season, there are still plenty of people watching the series.

So, did you find yourself muting OutDaughtered Season 9? Do you think the baby talk is over the top? Sound off in the comments section below, and come back to TV Shows Ace for more news about the Busby family.
