Michael Ilesanmi Joins New Family, Throws Major Shade At Angela Deem

90 Day Fiancé star Michael Ilesanmi has a secret talent which he’s revealed in a new video after responding to Angela Deem’s annulment request with shocking claims of abuse. There have been many instances in Angela and Michael’s relationship where the couple revealed how incompatible they were. Angela and Michael were not only over 20 years apart in age, but they also came from different cultures and had communication issues. Michael still stayed with Angela for seven years in a long-distance relationship but fled when he couldn’t handle the loud arguments every day in person.

Michael Ilesanmi is experiencing a brand-new life in the U.S. as he prepares to come face to face with Angela Deem for the first time since he escaped her home in February 2024.

Michael has found a friend in renowned chef and lawyer Ify Mogekwu, also known as Kitchen Queen.

Ify posted a video featuring Michael, and she joked, “Contrary to popular belief, we didn’t cook legal documents on this day” in her caption. Ify prepared a traditional soup using goat and okra, which is one of Nigeria’s national dishes. Michael had joined her for the meal and was the “perfect gentleman” who made swallow, a complementary food made from popular staple ingredients like cassava, wheat, plantain, coco-yam, etc. Ify spoke about Michael telling her he hadn’t made swallow in a long time

The food expert complimented Michael by saying he did a “perfect job” with the swallow. Ify revealed how everyone enjoyed the food very much, as they couldn’t stop raving about it after dinner. They also did some shots to end the evening. Michael commented, “Enjoyed it” on the video. Michael is currently living with his new family in Texas and is making new friends who support him through his tumultuous journey. Angela would never have allowed Michael to go on adventures like these. She didn’t even like Michael meeting his friends locally in Nigeria.

When Michael came to the U.S., Angela took him to her favorite restaurant owned by a friend.

She promised him they served the best steak and the best barbeque. Michael was really looking forward to the meal. She told Michael that he was going to love the shrimp and grits because it was “real food” not like the food he had “back at home. Michael, who usually didn’t counter Angela’s claims, had stood up to her to defend Nigerian cuisine. Michael told her that the food back home was “also real, okay?

“If I don’t eat it, I wouldn’t be like this, the way I am,” Michael had said pointing to his well-built physique.

Angela had refused to assist Michael’s family with cooking when she went to meet them. Angela had refused to live like a Nigerian woman. Michael had told her his mom didn’t eat pizza. Angela had made offensive faces when Michael had taken her to a local meat market to buy goat. Angela had even screamed loudly upon seeing a goat’s head. She had almost hit Michael and pushed him into a gutter. Angela had told Michael she was going to throw up if she ate his food and claimed she got malaria after visiting the market.
